you can see your energy consumption at a glance in your clock.

My thoughts

Team Virtue is building LinQ, a connected house that has a smart connected system that measures the in house energy consumption. We explored the possibility to communicate this at a glance through an object central in a living environment, a clock.

How does it work

The system knows the users energy consumption pattern. If more energy has been consumed than usually that time of the day the green disk indicates this by being ahead of the clocks time indicator.

ClocQ is the physical user interfaces to the smart system of the house.

ClocQ is connected to the smart system through an Arduino.
